We leave Cusco in the morning, heading towards the traditional Maras town, located on the Maras plateau. First we visit Moray, one of the most fascinating archeological sites of the Sacred Valley. According to the most accredited scientific opinions, Moray was used as an agricultural laboratory during Inca times.

From Moray, we proceed towards Maras salt pans, a unique site where salt is still harvested using the same terraces and the same water channels the Inca made! The landscape here is astonishing, with white terraces gracefully degrading towards the bottom of the valley.

The tour does not involve a lot of walking!

The tour starts at:

8:00 to 9:00am (the pick up time will be confirmed the day before the tour around 6-8pm)
