Description
Visit a rural community and join one family to experience Andean tradition and culture.
We leave Cusco in the morning and after a 3 hours drive we reach the Amaru community, in the surroundings of Pisac. After a typical Andean welcome, the family will serve a restoring breakfast before starting with the day’s activities, which mainly include:
- learning about Andean textiles and their production with a weaver (natural dyeing, spinning, weaving…)
- exploring seasonal crops and discovering medicinal herbs
