In this half-day city tour, a professional guide will lead you to the discovery of the most impressive inca ruins around the city of Cusco. The tour starts in the city centre where it will be possible to visit Cusco’s Templo del Sol or Qorikancha (Sun Temple). This site is of great significance: underneath a colonial monastery, entitled to Santo Domingo de Guzmán, lie the ruins of the most important religious building of the Inca civilization.

Afterwards, the group will move up to the surrounding hills (on a bus) to discover four archeological sites, among which Saqsayhuaman, Cusco’s ancient fortress, stands out.  In addition to being a tour full of history and culture, the City Tour allows participants to enjoy one of the most scenic views of the city of Cusco from up above the hills.
